Hi Alan
I have a 98 STI, i shot a piston, got a re-con engine, but it never felt as smooth as before, i recently blew the head gasket.the engine is under waranty so i can get the work done, but what would u advise i do 2 make my car run smoothly? i kept gettin a fuel cut, which must have something 2 do with the fuel pressure regulator. i want 2 bring it 2 ur workshop but wana no wot u would do n how much it wud cost please. i fink rolling road wud be a must, at least, but i want it more responsive with costing me a bomb.

Hi Jamie - If it's a version 4 we can't actually map it. If it's faulty we can fix it, it sounds like it may be overboosting. As soon as you get it back, book it in with us, and we'll check it out for you. We charge £70.50 inc vat for a dyno session which will tell us all we need to know. |
