Answer: Hi Chris - I really like these! we don't see very many, but the cars are great to drive, with a lightness of touch missing from a lot of 4wd offerings. They are a bit trickier to tune compared to the later Evos, but aren't at all bad with just a light tweak.

We can do a few things like a Superchip, induction kit and exhaust? That would add around 12 bhp for £700 or so. We could also improve the handling with slightly lowered springs and the brakes with EBC discs and pads.

Turbo Technics used to supply a Supercharger kit, but there is no denying the engines can be problematic! Personally, I'd say your best bet is to add the £3000 to what you'd get by selling it, then seek out the 160 bhp version.
