| Question:
I have just bought an 05 impreza wrx with 34K miles, and im chuffed to bits with it!
Its had the wrx300 interior installed at sometime but not the PPP that usually comes along with it, so i think its only fitting that i up the power to match the looks!
i know the PPP from a dealer would be £1,565.96 and that would include an ECU remap, Uprated Intecooler hose, and \"Sports Exhaust Silencers\".
However i already have an aftermarket backbox (maybe cat-back, havent had chance to look yet), so allowing for this what could you do to get me to a similar power level and what would be an estimate for cost?
I want to maintain as much relibility as possible, and i would be interested on the effect these modifications will have on the mpg as well?

Hi Lawrence - We can supply and fit a decat down pipe and re map the car for £776.25 inc vat. The alternative is a sports cat, which with the re map costs £1012 inc vat. The results are considerably better than with the Prodrive set up, being custom mapped for the car. We would normally expect to see around 40 bhp gained over standard, with much more torque. The MPG wouldn't change from standard as long as you are in closed loop lambda (town driving) you may use a little more if you are tempted into driving the car faster of course!
