Hi, I have carried out quite a big project converting an Impreza 2.0 GX into a WRX. This included new wiring loom, ECU, fuel pump and obviously engine. A few problems, like the paddle clutch i was told can take up to 350 bhp slips and the fuel pump runs all the time and i get the engine warning light coming on showing fault code p1230 (fuel pump controller) when i have sorted the clutch and got the money im defo going to book it in with you for a remap. Do you have any ideas as to what to check for the fault code as im sure its overfuelling due to when driving hard it stinks of fuel! Cheers see you soon |

Hi Ross - I'd be inclined to check out the fuel pump relay, and associated wiring. Assuming you took everything from one car, it should work the same way in your car. I'm sure we could fix it for you. Mapping depends on the model of ECU. |
