Question: Hi Allen i`m running 320bhp at the momnent on one of your 2.1 stroker builds i`ve a vf 35, i`ve got a fmic to go on, 440 injectors standard fuel pump looking to get around 350ish so thinking a warlbro fuel pump as well.

Question: Hi Allen, can phase 2 440 injectors on a classic impreza be upgraded to run higher if so can you do it and how much? cheers Gary.
Answer: Hi Gary - There are those who say it can be done, but it involves sending them off to be modified. We're on the fence about the effectiveness of that one, especially when you can just buy new ones. You can raise the fuel pressure to a certain extent, which increases the flow rate from your old ones. Which turbo are you using, also management and projected power output?

Question: Hi alan. Im looking to be getting a car to use as a \" sunday \" car and ive been looking at the subaru type R ( 2 door ) or a r33 skyline gts-t. What do you think is better ? Is one more tunable than the other? Ive always wanted a rally car and have looked at evos but i must say i prefer the looks of the type R over the evos but no had a go so cant say on driving. Ive also heard of the skyline rb25det block being taken to well above 600bhp. The subaru also has a better standard 0-60 time etc with the AWD but not sure about handling but as it will be a sunday car it wont always be getting hammered. So in your opinion what do you think is better ? many thanks
Answer: Hi Tim - You'll find the Impreza the easiest to deal with. I'd say the type R is a good choice as a weekend car, having very good grip and handling. They are slightly low geared for motorway work, but as that's not what you want it for, it doesn't matter. Of course, choice depends upon budget, but a useable one starts at around £4000. When it boils down to it, it's hard to choose between an Evo and an Impreza, I've owned both, and liked them for different reasons. I happen to know where there is a really nice V4 type R going as we speak, we know the history, it's standard, with 71K on it, £5000.

Question: Hi Alan,can you give me a price including VAT to supply and fit a standard clutch in a STI,2003, 6 speed?. Thanks
Answer: Hi Jason - The labour is £235 inc vat. From memory, the 6 speed clutch is around £225 plus vat (£264.38 inc vat) Total £500 all in near as dammit. We find the standard clutches are good for well over 300 bhp. 01752 345880 to book!
