Also how long does it take for forged pistons to warm up? Thanks Jake Answer: Pistons yes, rods no. Custom pistons take roughly four weeks. I'd say they don't take any longer than a sensible amount for any engine.

With a decat, you'll see an extra 40 bhp at least right away, plus better torque. Apart from that, it's all down to budget. If you can afford it, you can have it!

Should i do an ecu reset afterwards? thnx Andy Answer: Hi Andy - I'd suggest a sport cat shouldn't make a radical difference. A ECU re set never hurts, just keep it on V power if you can.
